If your fine does not have an obligation number
If your fine is registered with Fines Victoria but it was handwritten or issued without an obligation number, and you would like to pay it on this website or by BPAY, call Fines Victoria on 03 9200 8111. Once the fine has been entered into our systems (allow 2 business days), we should be able to give you the obligation number.
Always check the payment instructions on your fine before you pay. For some fines, payment must be made to the enforcement agency that issued it – not to Fines Victoria.
If your fine is for a traffic camera offence and you were not driving, you should tell us who was driving. You need to do this quickly – for some fines, you need to do this within 28 days. We will then re-issue the fine, with a new due date, to the correct driver.

If you're having problems paying your fine, there are options available.
You can ask to pay your fine by instalments, including deducting from Centrelink payments. You can also ask for more time to pay. If you believe there is a valid reason why you should not have to pay the fine, you may be able to request a review or dispute your fine in court.
If someone else was driving your vehicle, you should nominate them so we can re-issue the fine to them. You need to do this quickly - for some fines, you must nominate the correct driver within 28 days.
Remember that when a fine is issued to you, you must do something about it. If you do nothing, the fine will continue to increase, and an Enforcement Warrant may be issued.
