Environment Protection Authority fines

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has announced that a systems error resulted in a small number of EPA authorised officers operating without the right authority.

This means some fines issued by these EPA authorised officers since June 2022 are not valid.

Visit the EPA website for more information on this error and action EPA is taking to deal with the fines issued in error.

We will continue to work with EPA as they take action to resolve this matter.
