Before you apply to go to court, you may wish to consider requesting a review instead. If you elect to have your matter heard in court, you will no longer be able to request a review.

If you can’t pay your fine by the due date, you can ask to pay it off in instalments. This means you make regular fortnightly or monthly payments until the fine is paid off.

You may be able to combine all your outstanding fines into one payment plan.

If you have received a fine and can't pay the full amount by the due date, you can apply for more time to pay. If eligible, this will extend the due date of the fine.

To download a photo of a road safety fine, click 'Get Started', enter your obligation or infringement number and authenticate your details. Once you've logged in, you will see all your fines. If a fine has a photo available for download, you will see a 'Photo' button.

If there is a valid reason why the fine should be withdrawn or enforcement of the fine cancelled, you can request a review.

When you request a review, you must choose the grounds for review. A ground is the reason you are asking for a review and by law, there are only 5 eligible grounds. Different rules apply for each of the grounds and not all fines are eligible for review on each of the grounds.
