Have you received a Notice of Final Demand from Fines Victoria about failing to vote?

Published on 21 Oct 2019

Fines Victoria recently issued a number of Notices of Final Demand in relation to fines issued by the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) for failure to vote at the last State Government election.

If Fines Victoria has issued you with a notice, it is because the VEC advised us that you did not pay or take any other action in relation to your fine.

When a Notice of Final Demand is issued, additional costs are incurred and you have 21 days to pay the new amount. If you don’t act by the due date, a range of sanctions may be applied and an enforcement warrant may be issued against you.

You can pay here or to find out more about your options, please contact us.
