The infringement system in Victoria is working and infringement notices are being issued as normal.

If you’ve received a public transport fine, or a fine issued by a local council and it’s at the infringement stage, you’ll need to deal with your fine through the agency that issued it.

If your fine is at the enforcement stage, this means it has been registered with Fines Victoria for enforcement because of non-payment at two previous notification points from the agency that issued it – the Infringement Notice and the Penalty Reminder Notice.
